LIGHTING UP ILLINOIS YELLOW

Illinois continues to contribute to the national effort to illuminate America in yellow on January 27 in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Through participation from major landmarks and institutions, Illinois helps expand the visibility of this annual tribute.

The state’s involvement underscores a strong commitment to remembrance and Holocaust education. We welcome more Illinois communities and organizations to join the effort. If your location would like to participate, please contact the coalition.

This 110 story, 1451 foot skyscraper has a Skydeck visited by 1/7 million people each year. When the yellow lights are lit on International Holocaust Remembrance Day it is visible from a great distance.
